In all likelihood that would be closer to the trade deadline. Drew Smyly showed promise with a nice rookie year, but he pitched just under 100 IN.

I see no harm in allowing Porcello to sit in a 5th starter role. If the Tigers get real lucky, maybe he goes out and has a great first half and they can get a bit more.
