Why does it take until the end of Jan. to figure out the kid had to have surgery again? He was clearly not right the whole season. The Sox coulda sent him off to get fixed at any point in the season, and still maintained the cellar position.

Was looking forward to see Kalish v. Nava in spring training to see who could win a spot on the bench and likely good amount of playing time since Gomes and Victorino both struggle vs righties. Kalish is a great talent but he cannot stay healthy. 25 is still young, and it's not too late, but it's still disappointing since this occurs every year to him. Still like Nava though (As switch hitter off the bench, he's not a prospect)

The is the Tim Naehring /Jed Lowrie curse all over again. This guy was supposed to be the second coming of Fred Lynn, and now he's going to be 30 before he's healthy, if ever. Neck and shoulder ills---not good. Sad. He looked so good in 2010.
