Who doesn’t use test as far as relevant players? It’s the only way to really improve. I can’t believe MLB bans this stuff. It’s actually great for you. It changed my life. Energy, sex drive, confidence, strength. It’s accepted everywhere but sports. Ridiculous

Add to that, if there’s still good money in it, why would BALCO stop R&D on newer, better drugs? Just because they were implicated once and got rapped, now they’ve completely stopped pursuing that line of business? Their customers have all gone away? C’mon.

Ramirez was caught using HCG, which is a female fertility drug. However, it’s also used to jump start testosterone for those with low levels. In a legitimate case, it can be used to get males back to a normal baseline; however, some use it to jump start testosterone after taking steroids for many cycles (because when you continually introduce artificial substances, the body will shut down normal production).

Because of the former issue, use without a prescription constitutes a “failed test” under MLB’s drug policy.

Let’s see the NY Daily News leads with perhaps the biggest name in NY Sports who plays on the arguably the most recognized team in professional sports. Because somehow there is a correlation between A-Rod and other Latin Players.

I wonder if the Boston Globe would lead with a similar story but this time INSERT David Ortiz since he’s a Boston sports hero and extremely well know Latin player. And does have some history with illegal “supplements”.

You will have to forgive me but this is all bullchit. When to “Professionalism in Journalism” die.

New performance enhancing drugs are being created every year to avoid existing tests. Anyone that thinks this issue is ever going to go away isn’t paying attention. BALCO specialized in PED’s that weren’t detectable at the time. They are far from the only ones doing so.

Perhaps ARod hasn’t tested positive b/c they don’t test for whatever concoction he is ingesting. Doctors will be always be one step ahead of testing b/c there is big $$ in it. If a guy really wants to cheat there will always be a way.
