The Brewers ran a uniform design contest last month. The winner was announced this morning:
They’re designed by Ben Peters of Richfield, Minnesota, who won a trip to spring training along with 10 shirts and hats using his mock-up. The Brewers will wear the unis on March 22 against the Cubs in Arizona and March 30 against the White Sox at Milwaukee’s Miller Park. Here’s a look at the finished product:

Obviously the point of the contest was to produce something fun and different so let’s not act like a uniform worn at 2 spring training games is anything worth complaining about. Big fan of barrel man, fun contest.

I like the jersey, though as Uni Watch pointed out, the “E” being on both sides of the shirt will cause some visual dissonance. Not a huge fan of the hat. There were better cap designs.
