historiophiliac is spot-on, it’s not the quality of the email account, it’s the sheer volume. If it ain’t unmanageable, it ain’t badass…

And yes, I have a gmail account, and yes, it kinda sucks ass…

Albert was my favorite player of all time. I still like the guy, but keep in mind that every year his numbers go lower and lower. Each season there is some excuse for the slow start or poor finish etc.. I think Sir Albert is on the downside of is career and anyone who doesn’t think so is just fooling themselves. Lets see if this season brings about different numbers. If his numbers are not as good as last year, he is finished. If he somehow comes back to the numbers he had in St. Lou, then you could be right, but don’t hold your breath.

Love that last line. It was kind of cool watching the Bob Costas eulogy. There were a few things Costas said that made me think “hear that Albert?”

You are exactly right about Strauss. He gets picked at on the 590 the fan morning show and basically admits tweeting just to stir things up. The joke with him all of the time that he isn’t happy unless he’s crabby.

What a bunch of whiners. Lets face it, he is a 1st ballot hall of famer that still has a few killer yrs left in him. Coming off a sub par yr that saw him go for 290/30/100 and thats with 1 bomb in April, no protection in the line up the 2nd half & playing on 1 wheel the last part of the season. Hes in great shape has Hamilton hittin behind him and his team has the deepest pitching staff in baseball. He may not be mvp this yr but i betcha he and Hamilton are both in the top 5 mvp. Angels ride him all the way to the series.

So you are telling me I have to get a Gmail account because all the cool kids have one?
What if I think Gmail sucks ass?
Besides…I have always been a leader…not a follower. But I may have to re-think this approach.
I mean…if Gmail is where it’s at…it’s were it’s at.
In the grand scheme of things…a person’s email account is critically important.

Joe Strauss is using Twitter to needle Cardinal fans about what they’re missing out on by not having Pujols on the team anymore? I’m shocked! Shocked, I tell you! Next you’ll be telling me he’s slamming the town and the people that employ him as provincial and backward and/or being a smug know-it-all while swooning over his Chik-Fil-A sandwich!

Pujols wore a suit to the funeral and was never exactly Ponson-esque to begin with, so while I don’t doubt that he might be a “wedge,” I’m unclear on how, precisely, Joe’s sources were able to discern the nuances of his physique.

Meanwhile, at least one St. Louisan was spotted that day wearing a T-shirt that said “Well done, Stan—THAT’S how you sign with the Angels.”

Unless, of course, you were referencing an alternate dictionary definition, such as (from Merriam-Webster):”marked by a concern for material interests and respectability and a tendency toward mediocrity”,
Which I would also agree that my observation above references, at least the first part…

Mostly, I rarely take even the most oblique poke at Craig, ’cause I like him, but while funny the Hotmail poke was a bit weak.
And not just because I have a Hotmail account (maybe…)
