Add another name to the “Best Shape Of His Life” list, via Richard Durrett of ESPN Dallas:

Mitch Moreland showed up for one of his few public appearances with the Texas Rangers this offseason (at a Winter Caravan event on Tuesday night) looking fit and ready for spring training. Moreland said he’s lost 10 pounds since the season started, an effort to give him a little more mobility.

Moreland is listed at 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds.

Durrett also notes that Moreland had one of his left-handed buddies throw to him three times per week during the offseason in an effort to improve his .211 career batting average versus southpaws.

The BSOHL team just keeps growing by the day

Too bad we can’t send that to the WBC.

And just in time, if Cruz is about to take a little vacation.

Wait… so losing 10 pounds and looking fit means you’re in the “best shape of your life”?

Yes, I thought Craig imposed more rigorous standards than this quote to be on the BSOHL list.

Wait, that’s only 8 lbs less than Delmon Young. So confused, I am.

Still need a pure SS, outfielder and a catcher and we are ready to go!

Seriously, if you drafted these guys for your fantasy team this year you’d be ok. Still need some more pitchers though. Some more pitchers not named “John Lackey”, I mean.

Gee no Twins yets — the slackers!

OK, so where is the meathead reader that doesn’t understand the best shape of his life deal? Yeah, the guy that can’t spell “it”, if you spot him an “i” and a “t”?

See? You got to be an avid reader here….you gotta keep up dude. Naturally you will come back in a week and say something stupid like you did yesterday. Duh.

    Oh, and Go Rangers.
