Saw him hit the longest homerun at Angel stadium ever where the ball doesnt carry well. Granted it was a 95 mph grooved fastball and he does use a big bat but….Ive been to hundreds of games there and watched many more. It reminded me of the homerun derby in 98 with Big Mc & Sosa. Those 500 foot bombs they were hitting. It was so long and to a spot in left center where no one ever had hit one before.we just couldnt believe it. The red flag went up then. You knew it just didnt look right. I know im a halo honk but the guys a juicer. You watch he will start breaking down, hr totals go down and they wont go as far when hes off the sauce. Ive seen our masher Trumbo at bp many a time but nothing like that bomb Nellie hit that nt. Its a shame he doesnt need peds he has enough power without. Looking like 50 games to me. Lets clean this game up for good. Just my opinion but i think its morr rampant with pitchers than hitters. They all throw in the low to upper 90s now.

Here’s my conspiracy theory. There is a certain agent out there with a high-priced pitcher and a high-priced outfielder who don’t have jobs. Funny how an outfielder (Cruz) and a pitcher (Gio) were–apparently–snagged, and both are from teams with postseason ambitions…

Pretty much a player can’t win in this situations.. If they keep quiet people suspect, if they deny, people think they lie and if they admit it, well at least at that point they deserve the scrutiny.
