Well at least there is one Texas fan thats wondering what the Rangers are or should i say arent doing this offseason. Angel fans are scratching our heads also and loving it. Now with Cruz staring at 50 days, looks like the Rangers are sinking lower in the west than the setting sun.

I see your point but the reason that Cruz isn’t getting talked about like Rodiguez is because Cruz isn’t on the “superstar” level like A-Rod. A-Rod is one of those “once in a generation” type guys. Remember the hype surrounding him when Bonds broke Hank Aaron’s record? A-Rod was supposed to be the one that broke Bonds’ record, and was said that he would break it “cleanly.” I think that’s why there is more backlash for him.

But Michael, no one hates Nelson Cruz and he’s never been linked to PED’s before. That’s no fun.

But let’s talk about Mr. Cruz for a moment, shall we? He was DFA’d in 2008, and then he cleared waivers. Anyone could have had him for nothing, and no one wanted him. Perhaps this is the low moment when he discovered the power of the deer?

I wish A-Rod would grow a ridiculous goatee, bleach it blond, and do a serious heel turn. There are so many in the herd with their pitchforks out for him, he should try to revel in it. He’s so insecure, he wants to be liked and admired so badly, this is what’s sad about it.

Embrace the hate, Alex, play the heel. Watch CC’s appearance on MLB Talk if you need some pointers. Go all out. Rent some of Charlie Sheen’s old goddesses. Have some fun for godssakes. What’s the point of being that rich if you don’t go big?
