Money saved on Prado vs. J Upton can go to extending Aaron Hill. Wouldn’t have kept Upton past his contract anyway. All in all a good move for a mid-market team.

Glad Prado got a new deal, he deserves it. I am glad he is with Arizona now too. Prado alone was a Phillies killer. Glad he is out of the East. I will take our chances with the Upton Brothers.

Its the deal with GRIT on the team with extra GRIT. It remains to be seen if GRIT = Post Season. One thing we do know: being really good at baseball while only 23 is not the way forward. No GRIT.
