Matt Garza hurt his elbow last year and ended up throwing only 103 innings. He’s feeling much better now:

Garza just signed a $10.25 million contract for 2013. It’s his walk year too, so his health is a big big deal.

I can think of 10.25 million reasons why he feels better! Actually, because of taxes, you’re looking at only 7 million reasons to feel better; but who’s counting.

Hope he’s feeling better. Without him we’ll only win 40 games. We are gonna miss the Astro’s.

Even without Garza the Cubs won’t fail to put up better numbers this season. How much better, maybe 70-75 wins, that’s depending on whether Theo spins off a few key pieces at trading deadline.
