I expect that may be true. Where he plays will probably be determined by the relative quality of their other options at 3B and SS.

I’d like to know if this is really any different that what Ramirez usually does in winter ball……he’s probably playing about as much SS as most starting SSs do during the offseason. This doesn’t seem like what the Dodgers should be worrying about.

They should be worrying about the fact that he isn’t like he’s a good defender. He managed to be average for a couple of years, but that was a few years ago now. He’s been among the league’s worst defending SS the last 3 years, expecting him to be any bet than that isn’t particularly reasonable….or necessarily the fault of Ramirez.

With Reyes and Aybar on the same WBC team as him, Ramirez is not going to play ss. I understand that he may have played DH i Winter Ball due to a shoulder problem.
