If it’s Tuesday Russ Canzler must be on another team

Odysseus

The Orioles just announced that they have claimed Russ Canzler off waivers from the Yankees. For those of you following Russ Canzler’s odyssey this offseason, that’s Indians-Blue Jays-Indians-Yankees-Orioles. All since October.

I’m going to set “next Monday” on the “when will Canzler next be DFA’d” pool.  Please Paypal your bets to the HardballTalk email address.  Thanks.

The sad irony here is that he really wants to play in the National League.

He just needs to land with the Red Sox to complete the AL East tour.

At this point I think Cranzler has the cooties. There’s no other explanation for this kind of shunning.

I have this image of Canzler turning laps in a round-a-bout in Mississippi.
