WTF would the quality of play be affected at all? If NFL players stop taking HGH all that will happen is that they'll save some money. There is zero evidence that HGH helps recovery from injury or from workouts and there is zero evidence that it adds lean muscle or strength. The lack of evidence isn't from a lack of study, HGH simply provides no benefits to adults with normal HGH levels (indeed, research shows that adults with high HGH levels have decreased stamina....meaning that taking HGH likely has more negative than positive effects on athletes).

Of course not all players will be treated the same. There are players, there are stars, there are superstars, and in a category all their own, far beyond the realm of mere mortals, there are YANKEES.

OK, the real truth--A mention in Biogenesis' records is not the same as being cited as a PED-buying customer.

How about we just assume that all players are on some sort of PED and then make them fight to prove that they are clean?

Oh wait, that's sort of what's going on anyway. Carry on.

Just about every athlete in every sport is injecting this stuff into their bodies and why wouldn't they. If you could improve your performance and pay at work by putting some testosterone, which is actually good for you unlike heroin, into your body they you certainly would because that's a lot better than fading out and not being able to support a family. People are so naive about it. The only people who believe there are droves of clean athletes are sheltered geeks who have clearly never worked out or played any competitive sports. Anybody who actually works out at a gym understands that just about every fit male out there is putting something into their body so of course the biggest and strongest athletes in the world are doing it too. It's so irritating constantly reading these posts defending these players who are no doubt guilty of trying to gain a competitive advantage. The real shame is that we look down on these guys like its actually a big deal.. Sports would be really boring if all the athletes were completely clean and the product would be garbage. Watch what happens to football next year when they start HGH testing. The quality of play will fall off a cliff

A wise man once said " everybody needs a bosom for a pillow".

At this point, this whole thing is kind of dragging about.

The trucks have pulled in, the pitchers and catchers are packing ( their clothes an such, not their drugs, hopefully ) and sring training is nearly here.

So let's all find a bosom, take a rest, and Fredo this whole Biogenesis thing until something of note, like suspensions, come down.
