I don’t think Detroit realizes how they’ll miss Delmon Young’s contributions in HCAR (Hate Crimes Above Replacement). When it comes this stat, Delmon is the Mike Trout of that number. I’m not sure the city of Detroit can survive the loss of one of the worst human beings in the modern history of baseball.

Miguel Cabrera also hit better in 2010 and 2011 than he did in 2012, despite the fact that he won the MVP, it was actually his “worst” season since 2009. He’s been that good.
