I really doubt that’s true. The main reason baseball was tossed out of the Olympics is because MLB refused to let WADA take over the testing.

Since MLB players are involved in the WBC, WADA can’t test them? Which means players under contract to MLB can’t be tested, so it would be a split test. Which isn’t going to happen.

The WBC isn’t sanctioned under the IBAF, so why would there be any drug testing going on for the players that isn’t already covered by MLB or the governing body of their country?

If you can show me something that says WADA is doing the testing, I’ll concede the point. But I don’t believe it for a second.
