Derek Jeter appears to be back at 100%

Feb 11, 2013, 11:02 AM EST

Jon Morosi tweets:

Yup, “slight side-to-side” movements is the Derek Jeter to which we have all become accustomed these past few years.  If he had more than that, especially to his left, we’d have to test him for PEDs.

Craig, you take all the fun away sometimes…now i can’t make a range of motion joke.

Maybe it’s time to expand your range! (At least you didn’t mention fist pumps, unlike some people…)

      • dan1111 - Feb 11, 2013 at 12:11 PM

Jeter is back at 100%, meaning he’s not far from being able to give his normal level of 110%.

Cano has Jetes left, I’m not worried.
Jetes has held his own since 1996.

      That was a sneaky troll.

Next week, he works on his jump-throws.

    Week after, the fist pump.

Week after that, the look of disdain when glancing at ARod.

A little chippy this morning aren’t we, Craig? A bad weekend?

Randy Levines dogs took some BP and were said to be looking sharp too.

  8. cackalackyank - Feb 11, 2013 at 2:43 PM

Sounds like good news to me. It will be interesting how he does hitting and getting out of the batters box.

  9. electstat - Feb 11, 2013 at 2:48 PM

Kind of a meaningless joke considering he already gets tested for PEDs.

    • johnchesterny - Feb 11, 2013 at 4:03 PM

And if he’d ever test positive, he’d be treated with more respect by some of the folks here.

  10. unlost1 - Feb 11, 2013 at 3:28 PM

He will never again be in the “Best Shape Of His Life”

  11. nbjays - Feb 12, 2013 at 7:36 AM

Any word on when he’ll start working on diving for everything he can’t possibly reach?
