Jose Iglesias: “I had the best offseason of my life.”
— Joe McDonald (@ESPNJoeyMac) February 12, 2013
No word on this involved his training regimen. If it did, Iglesias is firmly in BSOHL territory. If it involved something else, well, congrats to Iglesias for, I dunno, getting a girlfriend. Or going on a nice vacation. Or finally catching up on “Breaking Bad” or whatever it was that made the winter so good for him.

That would be hitting over .240 with an extra base hit in winter ball.
Great fielder, but nothing offensively whatsoever…watched him last spring.

the Sox should have traded this kid two years ago when some still thought he could be a starting SS. He could NEVER hit. At any level.

This guy is Rey Ordonez all over again. He’ll be lucky if he hits over .200
