Go check out the Wikipedia entry on it. It is used for moderate to moderately severe pain at the opioid level. If a player is having pain at that level, should he even be playing? If it just makes you feel good as Papelbon claimed, then is that anything more than an opioid high? That wouldn’t be appropriate use. What’s more it seems to be a dangerous drug, so dangerous that in Great Britain treatment with it can only be initiated in the hospital.
