As for freak injuries, I’ll go with the Roger Metzger table saw incident in 1979. Roger never came back, but the injury was immortalized when Billy Chapel (Kevin Costner) did the same thing in “For Love of the Game”

Not even sure this should be the clubhouse leader, still leaning towards Liriano. “Trying to startle kids on X-mas morning by whaling a door with non-pitching arm” is pretty damn unique.

The Camaro is awesome though, and the overall injury scene here is still tremendous.
