I don't see the Rays letting Myers see the field much bc of the time in service thing. Profar is road blocked at every turn for PT (same with Olt). Taveras could make an impact if the Cards get tired of Jon Jay or if Beltran finds himself on the DL. Buddy has the best shot of making a real impact this year.

Baseball America is great and no one can be perfect in prospect evaluation, so this should not be taken of a criticism of them. But, just for fun, here are some players who have ranked in the Top 3 of BA's top 100 prospects:

#1 1991: Todd Van Poppell, -1.7 career wAR
#2 1991: Andujar Cedeno- -3.7 WAR
#1 1992: Brien Taylor- Never played in MLB
#3 1992: Roger Salkeld- 0.4 WAR
#3 1994: Jeffrey Hammonds- 7.3 WAR
#2 1995: Ruben Rivera - 5.2 WAR
#2 1996: Paul Wilson - 1.6 WAR
#1 1998: Ben Grieve - 6.8 WAR
