Feb 19, 2013, 11:02 AM EDT

At least his managerial life. This pic was taken on Saturday. Dude looks like he could cover right field today if he had to.

So this is the first year that the BSOHL team has a manager, nice!

    • stlouis1baseball - Feb 19, 2013 at 11:20 AM

Sure…the team needs a Manager. But what if I don’t want him Managing the team?
      Can’t we have a player/manager?

      • number42is1 - Feb 19, 2013 at 11:21 AM

you have a better idea for manager?

      • Chris Fiorentino - Feb 19, 2013 at 12:25 PM

Dig up Casey Stengel….at least he wouldn’t be able to blow out all the pitcher’s arms.

    • stlouis1baseball - Feb 19, 2013 at 11:25 AM

We need to check the roster again first. Where is Kopy with the updated team?
I am sure we can find a viable player/manager. Dusty can be the bench coach.

      • historiophiliac - Feb 19, 2013 at 2:22 PM

        Let Dusty coach. Crabby.

    • cosanostra71 - Feb 19, 2013 at 1:14 PM

Mike Sciosca was in the BSOHL last season!

It’s also possible that he just got back from a vacation in Mexico. I lost a lot of weight that way, too.

  3. paperlions - Feb 19, 2013 at 11:31 AM

The way he’s leaning on that bat….it looks like it should have a tennis ball on the bottom of it.

    • historiophiliac - Feb 19, 2013 at 1:10 PM

      That’s cold.

      • stlouis1baseball - Feb 19, 2013 at 2:25 PM

Hey…don’t be mad cause’ I bad mouthed your meatloaf.
I can’t help what I don’t like. And meatloaf sucks ass. Unless you patty it up for me.
If you patty it up…I will pretend it is a hamburger and put lots of ketchup on it.

      Funny stuff right there!

  4. thomas844 - Feb 19, 2013 at 11:44 AM

That is an awesome pose he’s doing with the bat, too. Looks like it could be a movie poster! “Baker’s Nine” coming to theaters this April.

    • stlouis1baseball - Feb 19, 2013 at 11:59 AM

      Thomas:
Please know I am hoping it’s a comedy. Or a horror movie. Either of which will suffice for me!

      • thomas844 - Feb 19, 2013 at 12:12 PM

Horror. Because they will be scary good.

    • stlouis1baseball - Feb 19, 2013 at 12:18 PM

Hahaha! Well…with all due respect I am looking for the horror movie because they are ugly to watch.
To the point of them literally disturbing you.

      • thomas844 - Feb 19, 2013 at 12:21 PM

Yeah, all 97 of those wins last year were ugly to watch.

  5. hoopmatch - Feb 19, 2013 at 1:09 PM

Kirk Gibson could still kick his ass.

  6. ytownjoe - Feb 19, 2013 at 3:06 PM

    Will he bat clean-up?

  7. yahmule - Feb 19, 2013 at 3:19 PM

I guess Dusty must have played right field in Atlanta. I remember him playing a lot of left field for the Dodgers after he initially replaced Jimmy Wynn in center field.

  8. kiwicricket - Feb 19, 2013 at 3:42 PM

Shouldn’t we assess this from a side-on angle? Or is it all in the hips?

    • stlouis1baseball - Feb 19, 2013 at 3:47 PM

Dude seems to have lost his entire buttocks. It’s definately all in the hips.
Glad ole’ Dusty is doing better health wise though.

  9. hitdog042 - Feb 19, 2013 at 7:33 PM

    Cocaine. Again.

  10. northbeachtom - Feb 19, 2013 at 8:51 PM

Dusty is the worst postseason manager in the history of the game.
