Hmmm… I see a repeat of last year…

Last year was Alberts worst… Looking like the downward trend will continue.

Hard time recovering from minor surgery from 4 months ago.. Curious isn’t it ?’

I bet Larussa could tell you. Although he did say big Mac was clean.

He still could be eligible for this team. He may be in great shape but god is telling him to take it easy till mid march. He only does what god tells him to do.

I think you are right on the salary….but it comes to $24-25M/per eventually….the last 5 years he gets about $30M/per….I guess there is some “value” to having money deferred from early years to later years.

He’s only had 61 and 53 BBs the last 2 years….so he probably wouldn’t hit the century mark in that category if you included all ST and playoff games. In any case, those numbers still are not $25M/year production.

All the years I’ve gone to spring training the regulars don’t really get playing often until the second week of March anyway. Those early weeks tend to be filled with a lot of minor leaguers who haven’t been re-assigned yet.

Second half of March is when Albert will be facing actual big league competition so that should be more than enough time for him to get acclimated. No sense risking anything in the most meaningless of the meaningless games.

I was informed on this very blog that José Alberto Pujols Alcántara was in the BSOHL. I take it from this article that this is not so?

Well. This is a fine how-do-you-do. Is nothing for certain in this crazy world? If you can’t trust the BSOHL List then you can’t trust ANYTHING!
