and, wedge’s comment makes me laugh – felix is a joy to watch pitch, but free and easy is not a phrase i associate with his pitching. i believe it was joe posnanski who once described him on the mound as looking like he would rip off your arm and beat you to death with it. he is a very emotional pitcher and a big guy…the combo doesn’t usually make for free and easy. but he, it’s spring training, so maybe he’s fee and easy until april.
