Roger Clemens throws batting practice to the Astros, is not in the Best Shape of His Life

Feb 20, 2013, 1:03 PM EDT

We’re all gonna go to hell to some extent after we retire. Many of us before. Roger Clemens is no exception:

And throw live BP he did. McTaggart has a report. The upshot: Clemens had fun, but he is not a guy who sounds like he’s coming out of retirement again, be it for the Sugar Land Skeeters, the Houston Astros or anyone else.

Did any one take him down town? Did he throw at the guys head and/or throw a bat at them afterward? Unintentionally of course…He never admits to doing anything wrong, can’t wait for the autobiography lololol

I’m pretty sure that book will be full of misrememberances.

Actually, I saw the current draft of his autobiography’s introduction, which he also wrote. It was brief, the usual bit of listing his (literary) agent, editors, fact checkers and friends.

And a variation on the usual, as he wrote: “Any factual errors or misrepresentations in the book are theirs.”

Oddly enough, the title was “Stop Calling Me Mork.” I don’t get it. Anybody?

To be fair, the wind might be blowing the jersey. I can’t tell whether he’s carrying around a lot of belly fat or not. He’s had big thighs and butt for a long time.

I told my second ex-wife something like that.

Look at the other pictures in the linked article. Rocket has moobs.

But in the background, you get to see what El Presidente looks like at age 58; he looks like he could still bring it. Folks can complain about Clemens purportedly using hGH in an effort to be better. But my personal angst is much more directed at El Presidente who left what should have been a HoF career in a bottle of booze.

    Lock up your cheerleaders.

Especially the ones who haven’t started menstruating yet.

The Rocket does love him some underaged poon.
