Unfortunately we could be staring down the barrel of “Starting and batting 8th, SS Ronny Cedeno.”

I think Kozma’s next with Jackson bringing up the rear.

If Matt Carpenter actually makes the adjustment to 2nd, I suspect Descalso jumps ahead of the pack and gets a majority of the time at short by default.

Not exactly the Ozzie and Herr(iet)…

Not to be realistic or anything, but the Giants won the WS with Brandon Crawford at SS. Kozma and Jackson can’t be much (if any) worse than he is with the bat and both are good with the glove. For positions like SS, giving away defensive value for a little offense is a break even proposition.
