D-train, Brandon Webb, Mark Prior, Scott Kazimr (making a try with the Indians now)…I’m sure there are many others I can’t think of right now. So many guys that project well and/or deliver a great season or two and then pffffft. Some guys just don’t have the arm, and some don’t have the mental toughness etc. Whichever causes these flame outs, it is still sad and amazing.
