I see someone mentioned replica rings on e-bay. Is it common for the Players to have these made, or are they “faked” by memorabilia dealers? It just seems like an open invitation to fraud. Just curious.

I’m no conspiracy theorist, but I do believe this was written vague on purpose so that people would think it was A-Rod’s real ring. Anything to continue the over-the-top hatred of the guy. Think about…is this really even a story? Really it is as much a story if digbysellers did sell his Balboni jersey. It’s 2 non-Yankees selling memorabilia. How is that anything?

eBay always has tons of replica World Series and Super Bowl rings for sale. Usually like $200 for a decent one. I bet this one goes for a lot more. Obviously real white gold and diamonds. No CZ when your pulling down $28 million a year.
