Starlin Castro was batting here at Hohokam in the fourth inning when he pulled up lame, reaching back for his hamstring while running out an infield single.
A trainer saw him and he came out of the game. The official word now is “left hamstring tightness” which has him day-to-day.
Good news, I think. When he pulled up, he looked like he was in a lot of pain. Coulda been way worse.

Hate to be a mercenary, but what the heck. Are you fantasy guys paying attention? I was in a mock draft last night and there was wild bidding for Chris Carpenter and Granderson. I wish I was in a league with those guys. Make me look good.
Now the good side comes out. I hope he is fine. Never wish an injury on anyone, not even a Met.

… Where are the Mets ever once mentioned or relevant to this post? I’m legitimately curious
