No way in hell did all of that get done in 1 day. I’m sleeved and it took 6 sittings and 21 hours over 3 months. A half sleeve with a portrait is 10 hours minimum and any decent artist will only let their customer sit for 5 max. And the side of the biceps is tough skin and shouldnt cause any problems, get to the back down near the elbow or inside by the armpit and miss a day of practice is understandable if it’s done that day.

Not bad work though, has a little too much going on with it IMO but it’s meaningful to him so who cares.

Well then, go ahead. I’m here to tell you that you can absolutely get buried in a Jewish cemetery (well, most of them) with a tattoo. Tattoos are forbidden in Judaism, but the idea that getting one keeps you out of a cemetery is mostly an Urban Myth.

Sorry for the non-baseball aside, but don’t forget that the Torah begins with the words, “In The Big Inning…”

This is dumb from both sides. As a ballplayer, getting a tattoo during Spring Training is dumb because they do leave you sore and you can’t perform. As a tattoo enthusiast, getting one during ST is dumb because you’re frequently doing about 10 things to keep the tattoo from healing properly.

And for those who would say that getting a tattoo is dumb across the board, it’s 2013. Time to realize they’re not that big of a deal.

Really Elvis….. you couldn’t have gotten the “elaborate tattoo” before spring training started in say those 4-5 months you were chillin at home doing nothing. Guess not.. Must have been to busy going on vacations and stuff. Kids……
