Does this Leyland-Valverde romance thing ever remind you of some awful Turner movie channel remake of The Blue Angel? I do have some problems imagining Valverde in the Marlene Deitrich role, but Leyland works well in place of Emil Jennings. As for the sports connection, well, it says right here in IMDB that Jennings' character taught in a...gymnasium....

Psssst, Bill. I know you’re probably afraid to mention the Tigers now for fear that those cretins (read: crumby cake lovers) will show up and act the fool again. I feel you.
