Lucky for Ross he plays for the Diamondbacks now and not the Red Sox, so it won’t be a major injury that for some reason affects him all season including multiple stints to the DL.

Seems to happen to every Free Agent they sign to deal longer than 1 year.

I wonder if Cody Ross ever watched “The Junction Boys” – they story of Bear Bryants first season at Texas A&M. His star QB is sitting out practice due to a sore elbow:
