The grittiest Red Sox is easily Jonny Gomes….but only because I don’t think he’s ever taken a shower.

Also, he kind of looks like Johnny Crowder from Justified. And the Crowders are grit-tay!

Ortiz shouldn’t worry too much about running the bases.

With the lineup the Sox have put together unless he’s jogging after a hitting a homer….he really will be lucky to be walking between bases after getting on.

I believe outside of Red Sox camp that’s referred to as “walking.”
