He should sleep floating, in a pool. Or in bubble wrap. Maybe strap a large block of metal to him and balance him in mid-air between two powerful electromagnets.

This reminds of the story about Greg Maddux’s sleeping habits; he claimed always wrapped his arm in a warm towel and slept on his back. Although with Maddux you have no idea if he was yanking some reporter’s chain when he said this.

It’s minor, but really seems like the Yankees are cursed this year.. Wouldn’t be surprised if in a few days they turn it into a shoulder injury and he is out a few months.

Last year he got hurt in spring training while moving boxes. This year he got hurt in spring training while sleeping.

If the Yankees want him to be an integral part of a post-Rivera bullpen, maybe they should let him skip spring training.
