Since Ricky knows what he does in April and May is a tryout for another team, I bet he pitches with a bit of chip on his shoulder and having a more capable defense behind him won’t hurt. Some contender will be willing to overpay for starting pitching help

Can Loria sell off pieces of Ricky? He may be worth more parted out than as a whole starting pitcher. I’d think the kidneys alone would bring in some decent cash. I bet those fair-weather, ungrateful Marlins fans will give him grief again and force Jeff to write an editorial titled “Why I vivisected Ricky Nolasco”. Baseball experts would understand and applaud the move.
