Heh….my bad. I have ALWAYS confused Matt Clement and Ryan Dempster because of the Florida/Cubs careers and didn’t even realize it.

However, let us PLEASE not forget that his ERA was 8.88 for the month leading up to getting hit.

Clement was terrific until he was hit in the head by a batted ball by an unknown player on Tampa Bay who was totally worthless and never played a good game in his life.

Seriously: MATT CLEMENT WAS AN ALL-STAR FOR THE RED SOX. Then he got hit in the face with a batted ball. I will defend this signing for the rest of my life.
