I guess Aubrey Huff knows where he stands in the universe. Brian Cashman said yesterday they’d be interested in Derek Lee, Scott Rolen, Chipper Jones and, in keeping with the “old guys who really don’t play anymore” thing, likely kicked the tires on Charlie Hayes. But not Huff:

I imagine he’s OK with that. But once Wade Boggs and Graig Nettles get calls, Huff is likely to feel slighted.

Wade “Just for Men” Boggs! Having too much fun in the nursing home walking around in a generic baseball jersey to come back.
BTW, I can’t stand when commercials don’t pony up to put the endorsing athlete in the real deal.
I used to lose it every time I saw Fred McGriff in that gi-normous mesh backed hat promoting Tom Emanski’s instructional VHS (that’s right, VHS)
