Angels are going to be the most exciting team in baseball…they should be good enough to win the division, although oaklands pitching is scary good. Albert pujols will be the player arts thought he was signing, and,Peter bourjos can hit just fine. He has a plus .350 avg in spring and his defense makes up for any power shortage. Mrk trumbo is as good as mike Stanton, but gets way less publicity. If trumbo can learn to be more patient, he will be a perennial all star. Jason Vargas is a legit number 3 and tommy Hanson has had 3 great years out of 4. He’s only 26 and will likely be one of the best 4th starters in the AL. Blanton eats innings and a lot of food. The bullpen is better than last year. The angels lead the league with 22 blown saves last year. If they can cut that number in half, they win 95 games maybe. Angel stadium will help each of the fly ball pitchers and the best outfield in baseball will catch everything in the yard. Angels vs dodgers World Series.

The only thing CJ is capable of is giving up a lot of runs to good teams. He will have a winning record agains the Astros and a little below.500 with everyone else.

I don’t think the Angels pitching staff is any worse than the Rangers were when they won the division two years in a row. Weaver is one of the best pitchers in baseball, Wilson is a capable number 2, and after that, yes, they have three question marks. But while Vargas, Blanton and Hanson are question marks, they also have potential. If even just one of them reaches that potential that they’ve all shown at some point in the past, the Halos will be a pretty dangerous team.

So the commentator is suggested the Angels will either have a losing record and/or a negative run differential?

Yeah… Extremely doubtful. I pick them to win the West as well.

Pitching wins and the Angels have one good pitcher.

. They could score a lot but they will be scored upon more.
