Sale is only an injury “risk” due to his funky delivery that’s hard on his elbow and his ultra-gangliness. While it will suck not having Danks to start the season, it makes sense to rest him for the immediate and distant futures. He completely sucked the short time he played last season when he wasn’t 100%, and we are seeing the same stuff this spring. The Sox can hold down the fort until he comes back, but a healthy effective Danks is key to the difference between the White Sox being a good team and a Central Division champ.
