The point is that this happens to pitchers all the time regardless of their role, and to use a few isolated cases of pitchers recently moved to the rotation (e.g. Feliz) as examples of what always happens when teams make such moves is confirmation bias crap…..so I am just reminding those folks that think that Chapman’s arm will explode if he is moved to the rotation but that he’d remain healthy for years as a closer….that there is no evidence to support their opinion.
