2007: 140 GP
2008: 109 GP
2009: 137 GP
2010: 139 GP

From 07-10, never had an OBP under .340, his average OBP from 07-10 was .379, and he had a WAR over 4 in 09. He also hit well in 07 and 08 Postseason. Remember his grand slam vs the Indians and walk off single vs the Rays?

He wasnt the 5 hitter the red sox bought but he was not bad.

Seriously, I have no hope for the Red Sox this season which actually makes everything very comical to me. That is the only enjoyment I expect to get out of this season….laughing at their failures and constant durability issues.

And of course the trade deadline where we get to hear “We’re only 7 games out of the Wild Card race. We’re still in this! Trade prospects for guys who are only 3 seasons removed from a career season! The Angels want to trade Vernon Wells? AWESOME! Get him for the stretch run!”
