April Fools! A.J. Burnett victim of exploding rosin bag gag

Apr 1, 2013, 10:36 PM EDT

Even before taking the loss to the Cubs, A.J. Burnett got dusted in Monday’s game:

Burnett recovered from the traumatic incident to strike out 10 in 5 2/3 innings. However, he did give up all of the Cubs’ runs in the Pirates’ 3-1 defeat.

He did the same thing to his(black) Eye on the Yankees, that’s why he got his ass shipped out.Loser twice over.what a waste of talent. the John Daley of baseball.

There’s like a smorgasbord of incorrect and nonsensical information here….

Loser twice over – does that imply that he was somehow a different guy with the Jays and Marlins? Also I think after the way he was a leader in the Buccos clubhouse last year no one would describe him as a ‘loser’.

Your first sentence makes absolutely no sense.

The John Daly (spelling) of baseball? No drugs issues, doesn’t smoke, he’s a family man……

I would love to add more here, but I seemed to have filled my plate. Maybe I’ll come back for seconds in a bit.

@badintent, Burnett is the John Daly of baseball how? AJ has never wasted his money, never had a drug problem and is a committed family man with the same wife…so your comparison is offensive. Know your stuff before your make awful statements.

I think Pat Burrell would probably have been the John Daly of baseball- that f#%ker knew how to party.
