Great Moments in Bullpen Flatulence

Apr 18, 2013, 1:00 PM EDT

Headline kinda says it all, yes?

Thanks to Jason Wojciechowski for pointing this out. And Kudos to whoever noticed it and made the Gif.

    That reaction is priceless.

    He who dealt it…..

    • historiophiliac - Apr 18, 2013 at 1:19 PM

      Did you do that backwards?

      • heyblueyoustink - Apr 18, 2013 at 1:46 PM

You know, it’s been a bizarro kind of week.

      • historiophiliac - Apr 18, 2013 at 1:47 PM

        By the way, blue…

      • heyblueyoustink - Apr 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM

Never “by the way” courtesy of “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings”, always “by the by” for me.

The only reason I do it is to see if someone catches the reference. Like throwing the word “seppeku” into a regular sentence in a conversation.

Somebody needs the new iPhart APP. And someone else needs some beano.

    • historiophiliac - Apr 18, 2013 at 1:35 PM

Agreed. That was clearly not just a little Panda Poot.

      • Panda Claus - Apr 18, 2013 at 2:11 PM

        I hear ya.

And yet when they speak and act we are constantly amazed that they aren’t members of Mensa or Rhodes Scholars.

      Smart guys fart, too.

      • mickeylolich1968 - Apr 19, 2013 at 9:47 PM

Smart girls can raise a prodigious stink as well!

  6. theaxmancometh - Apr 18, 2013 at 6:58 PM

I have elicited that same reaction myself at Miller Park. Lots of beer, burgers & brats make for noxious gas.

    • manchestermiracle - Apr 18, 2013 at 10:12 PM

It takes time for your body to break down food and produce the gas that ends up as farts. Chances are that whatever you ate before you got to the park is what is producing the farts. Eating tends to accelerate the digestive processes, thus helping force out farts developed by the previous meal.

Dude, you seem to be quite the expert on it.?

      • dexterismyhero - Apr 19, 2013 at 3:25 PM

You sound like a true “Cropduster”.
