Curtis Granderson hitting off a tee, Johnny Cueto playing catch

Apr 22, 2013, 4:56 PM EST

I feel like I should leave that just as-is, without any context. Makes Granderson and Cueto sound like cute little kids getting ready to have fun!

But we know better.

Rehab. Sad. Back to serious business. But for a moment I jut want to invite them both over for some lemonade, give ‘em each a fatherly pat on the back and say “get back out there, Tiger!”

I am just picturing him playing Tee Ball with children and taking it seriously. The laughing makes the last hour of work go by faster.

He’ll deliver it for your birthday party. When do you turn twelve?

The saddest part about the Granderson story is that he struck out 4 times while hitting off the tee.

I mean, do we know if it was a left or right handed tee…
