Note: I taped this after that most surprising team dropped both ends of a doubleheader:

If you go by what most of the prognosticators were saying before the season began, the most surprising team (in a negative way) has to be the Nats, who clearly have yet to live up to the hype. It’s still early of course but so far they’ve been mediocre…

Without a doubt it has to be the bluejays, granted i was not drinking the koolaide a lot of these people were who make predictions but even i thought they should get a little better. Instead the complete opposite has happened, they finally spent some cash and ended up with a LOT of washed up players and are now a worse team then they were before hand!! Today Morrow goes for the sweep, or i mean goes to get swept!! Look at those great numbers he is sporting!! LOVE IT!

You are nothing if not a predictable simpleton, harry.

The fact that the Brewers are winning ( 9 straight) is pretty remarkable considering Ramirez is sidelined and Cory Hart won’t be back until June.

I agree with the Brewers comment. Jean Segura will be one of the best ss in the league before long.

Braves, Red Sox, Rockies in that order.

Braves got off to a great start, .. lets see if they can capitalize on it. I’m think not, by the mid to end of May the Nats will real them in. Red Sox and Rockies leading their respective divisions closing out April, granted by a slim margin, .. I don’t think anybody saw that coming but it’s early yet.

Honorable mention to the Jays and Royals.

With the addition of Upton brothers I thought the Braves lineup was stacked. The production out of Gattis and Johnson is suprising though. I would go Red Sox over them.

Braves are the real deal, but the Rockies had miserable BABIP luck in the first end of that DH. They smashed the ball all over the park, but constantly got nothing to show for it. Should have been split. I think they (the Rockies) can finish at .500 and the other they (the Braves) can win 95+.

I think the Astros are the most surprising. They’ve actually won some games.
