Hanley Ramirez had an MRI on the hamstring he injured on Friday. And the expected happened: a strain was found, and the Dodgers’ shortstop is going to miss 4-6 weeks.

Dee Gordon is going to likely get most of the reps at short, seeing as Bill Russell ain’t walkin’ through that door.

Maybe this guy should just avoid AT&T Park. The last two times he’s played there he’s been injured and missed significant time.

After their recent visit, and resulting sweep, I’m sure most of the Dodgers would love to avoid that park.

One of the rituals I most recall from listening to Vin Scully in my youth was when he would announce the Dodgers’ defense to start the game. “Garvey Loppes Russell and Cey on the infield” (I think they were the longest-running infield), usually followed by “Balker, Landreaux, and Smith.” Thanks for the recollection!
