Adrian Gonzalez left last night’s game with a neck strain

May 9, 2013, 1:30 PM EDT

It was Adrian Gonzalez‘s birthday yesterday. Wasn’t necessarily a happy one:

The issue: aggravated the neck strain he’s been dealing with. He’s now day-to-day. And if he and his teammates don’t get healthy and productive soon, so too will Don Mattingly’s tenure.

The entire outfield has neck strain watching balls served up by their relievers going to to the stands.

Adrain? You’re job isn’t that hard Craig, you should be able to spell the guys name right. Especially in the headline.

Unless you meant he was a drain on the Dodgers finances, in which case you are correct.

The Dodgers problem is their clueless GM, not Mattingly.

Colletti hasn’t built a team, he assembled a collection of very expensive guys with no rhyme or reason. When Colletti made that deal with the Red Sox last season, he exposed himself as a clueless maniac.

When he gets fired, maybe he can go back to being an assistant media relations guy…….
