Adam Eaton has had a setback

May 22, 2013, 3:00 PM EDT

Adam Eaton was diagnosed with a sprained ulnar collateral ligament in March and was playing in rehab games.  Then this:

Eaton hit .259/.382/.412 in his cup of coffee last year and was supposed to be a big part of the new-look, Kirk GIbson Diamondbacks. Now one wonders if he’s going to need Tommy John surgery. Tough break.

If he needs TJ surgery, Kevin Towers will trade him to the Marlins, who will then ship him to the Blue Jays. You just don’t do those kinds of injuries in Arizona.

Are u out your mind? He isn’t getting traded no where and its not TJ do ur homework check Eatons twitter feed.

Is not blatantly obvious?!?! His elbow doesn’t have the Willingness to Win!

It’s “The Will To Win” and don’t bring the White Sox into this! Hawk has it hard enough!

His elbow lacks the Willingham to Win.

His elbow is sore. The part of his elbow which is sore is the UCL ligament. When aggrevated, extensive rest or season ending TOMMY JOHN surgery is needed. I bet he is done for the season unfortunately
