Aaron Gleeman is a washout

May 29, 2013, 9:13 AM EST

Gleeman radio

If it wasn’t true, the Minnesota Star-Tribune couldn’t print it. Nor could they accurately quote him admitting that he often has no idea what he’s doing:

“The only really helpful advice I had for [the students] was to do everything,” he said. “Learn how to read a teleprompter, go learn how to shoot video, learn how to edit audio and go do a podcast … because I’m such a good example of that. The thing I thought I was going to do, I’ve literally never done once, and some of the stuff I’ve been most successful at, I didn’t even know what it was when I first started doing it.”

Not that this is a totally accurate profile of our friend Aaron. The word “basement” does not appear in it. Not even once.

Good for Aaron. He bet on himself and so far, has won. Love it.

I’ve always found that if you take Aaron’s advice and add the words “in bed” at the end, it’s much more entertaining.

And very accurate as well. I don’t think he ever leaves his…

Oh come on. Do none of you follow this guy? Read any of his personal blog? Listen to his podcast? He loves naps, talks about how he works from bed and hates leaving the house. Word of the day is facetious. It’s my modus operandi.

It’s annoying when you think it’s obvious but no one gets the implied “/s”…

      • dluxxx - May 29, 2013 at 10:38 AM

Eh, what can ya do? I’ll admit I like to troll Craig every now and then with a reference to the infamous “Tag Incident of 1991″ but I’m not one of those guys that rips the bloggers here.

Seriously, who couldn’t benefit from the teleprompter there?

Decent article, but it doesn’t tell the whole story of Aaron Gleeman.

Not one word about how that guy crushes babes.

      Dude’s a total chick magnet.

When will Mila Kunis come to her senses?

      • Francisco (FC) - May 29, 2013 at 1:03 PM

When she stops falling for con-artists like James Franco. I mean, what did that little one night stand net her anyway? An angry hideous green makeover! That’s what!

      • indaburg - May 29, 2013 at 4:39 PM

Kunis is dating James Franco? That dumb pretty boy? Now I’m not kidding. Gleeman’s better than him. Glerman is smart, funny, cute, and he’s a baseball connoisseur. What does James Franco know about baseball? I need to talk to this Mila chick.

    Who?

When I was a kid my granny would always be preaching “If someone wants to show you how to shovel sh*t, learn how to do it, because you just never know when it might come in handy.” Now, I learned a great many things, and they’ve come in mighty handy over the last 48 years, but I think, now that I’m older, I realize that the learning part was important, but instilling the willingness to try new things was the prize.
