Trevor Bauer gives the Indians a really bad season anthem

May 30, 2013, 9:13 AM EDT

Chris Perez is injured, I’m not sure that Mark Reynolds bats cleanup all the time and, frankly, Bauer’s flow leaves something to be desired. Bu I’m sure some people will like this:

Thanks, Craig. I can’t unhear that.

  2. baseballicious - May 30, 2013 at 9:19 AM

    I thoroughly enjoyed that.

    Oh my ear drums!

  4. chacochicken - May 30, 2013 at 9:20 AM

This clearly should be considered conduct detrimental to the team.

    My ears are bleeding.

    I have no words….

Wish I had eaten breakfast, just so I could puke

  8. bigleagues - May 30, 2013 at 10:12 AM

    I dunno.

He hasn’t been suspended for slingin PED’s in the clubhouse corner.

He hasn’t been caught slicing up the ball.

He hasn’t even been known striking out his rivals yet.

Sorry, that lack of that hustler cred makes this song suck.

Trevor Bauer gives the Indians a really “awesome” season anthem.

    “Gettin’ stupid throwin’ chedda.'”

    Hahaha! Outstanding!

90% of the absolute crap they call Rap ”Music” makes my anxiety level rise and my head to start pounding.

    “UHHH!!!!!!!!”

Ha, this is TOUGH. There are two redeeming factors, though:
    1) It’s a nice plug for a solid local Indians blog, wahoosonfirst.com.
    2) Mark Reynolds actually used this as his walk-up music (and then promptly hit a home run). That hardly redeems the song itself, but it kind of redeems the idea of a rookie writing crappy songs when a veteran crushes baseballs with it as his walk-up music. Gotta love the team support.

Unrelated for Craig: while I’m generally with you on the uselessness of Aquaman as a superhero (land-dwelling-centrism notwithstanding), I have to admit this special move actually beats running someone over with the Batmobile: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nx9c4b984aM

We could really use him in the bullpen right now. Nick Hagadone is downright awful.

    for shame.

This song was recently added to the Guantanamo bay detention camp playlist.

  15. natsattack - May 30, 2013 at 3:11 PM

It’s not much worse than modern rap music.

  16. stairwayto7 - May 30, 2013 at 3:32 PM

    W

  17. stairwayto7 - May 30, 2013 at 3:33 PM

Why us white guys can’t rap!
