Behold the tantrum throwing Yankees fan

May 31, 2013, 10:30 AM EDT

Well, he’s a Mets fan. But he wanted the Yankees to win too. And yes, he’s four years-old, but he’s, like, 62% of the Mets and Yankees fans in the HBT comments, so …

    Dramatical indeed.

  2. rickdobrydney - May 31, 2013 at 10:50 AM

    Dramatical, I like that —–

    Flipflopper.

He’s a Met fan, that wanted the Yankees to win but he’s wearing a Tigers hat.

This young man has years of counseling in front of him.

      That’s not a Tiger’s hat..it has an R on it. It’s his little league team’s hat.

Waaaaah!!!!!! I can’t see the video on my phone!

    • historiophiliac - May 31, 2013 at 1:09 PM

Less meth in your tea, please.

      • indaburg - May 31, 2013 at 5:11 PM

Well, how do YOU sweeten it, missy?

      • historiophiliac - May 31, 2013 at 5:13 PM

  6. sdelmonte - May 31, 2013 at 12:02 PM

Is there a Hitler tantrum remix yet for the Yankees? Or baseball in general?

  7. hornbuckle - May 31, 2013 at 12:30 PM

    You mean 4 months old?

  8. historiophiliac - May 31, 2013 at 12:33 PM

Is that seriously a news report?

    • gloccamorra - Jun 1, 2013 at 3:30 PM

It’s a change-of-pace, human interest story that breaks up the grim news of the day. I remember Walter Cronkite showing puppies once.

I hope it doesn’t follow that poor kid for the rest of his life. Parents are horrible.

This is like when the Yankees go to Anaheim and a bunch of families in the crowd have small children fully decked out in Yankees gear, but the kids are clutching Rally Monkeys because they think the toy is cool and they’re a little confused. Pick a side.

I mean, I did laugh when the dad said “So are you a front-runner, or a flip-flopper?” Hopefully the kid will figure it out at some point.

How does a comment that I witnessed as posted, to the point that I saw it published in line among all other comments, simply vanish?!

    • nbjays - May 31, 2013 at 2:20 PM

Because “Now You See Me” opened in theaters today?

  11. anxovies - May 31, 2013 at 2:29 PM

I feel for the kid. I did exactly the same thing when John Buck’s slow roller stayed fair and scored the stake-in-the-heart run in the eighth inning.

That kid will get the crap kick out of him in high school and will probably get arrested by age 23!
